Texanarchytm for Texanarchists!tm

Hi. Michael Dean here. Yesterday (March 22, 2004), I invented the words "Texanarchy" and "Texanarchists" for a new book I'm working on,
"The Simple Pleasures of a Complex Girl". My friend told me to register the domain name texanarchy.com. I occasionally do what women tell me to, so I got it. Here it is.

I did a Web search, and neither word is anywhere on the Web. This surprised me, considered how independent-minded most Texans are. Hell, they were a country for a minute in the 1800s. Even the anti-litter motto, "Don't Mess With Texas" seems kinda anarchist to me. The phrase "Lone Star State" even implies this kinda "don't ask, don't tell, leave me alone and we'll be fine". Sounds like anarchy in the most positive sense of the word to me.

I don't know what a left-coast yankee like me will do with this Website, but for now, here's pix of me in Livingston Texas a few months ago, pretending to be a Texan. (How many Texan gals does one have to date to be an honorary Texan, anyway??? My friend Kaia says, "Any number of Texas ladies, but you have to date Texas ladies continuously for two years". If so, I've got a year to go.)
