My dad sent me this.

Last weekend my hometown Upstate New York paper had the full-page "small town boy makes good" article about me in the Sunday edition. (You'll have to scroll over to see it all.)

It basically says, "Drop out of school and you'll have all your dreams come true, this guy did".

In some very petty and very real way, the small-town newspaper article means more to my stilted inner-stoner teenage ego than an article in a national publication does. Because when I was skipping school and smoking pot in mom's garage, I'm sure at some point I said, "Someday the local paper will do an article on how cool I am. I don't know how or why, but they will. You'll see, bro.....", and I was never thinking far enough to think national then. Fucking funny.

Hope no one uses it as justification to drop out. lol.....
