Q. MD....what do you use to record on your computer?
A.to record into my computer, I use: midiman audiobuddy preamp,
alesis compresser, cheap Radioshack copy of an SM-58 microphone,
Darla 24-bit soundcard,
software I use is:
Vegas (multitracking)
Acid (looping)
Sound forge (wave editing, EQ and mastering)
all three of these are by Sonic Foundry.
also use a little bit of fruity loops and rebirth for drum stuff. critique? it's all good. I have 198 megs of ram and a 350 mhz PII prosessor, and 6 gigs of hard drive. I need MORE MORE MORE> also, a mixing board would be nice. .......and a better mike.
