Overview: You can license MouseCount to give away to customers. They will want it on their desktop for its fascinating e-dometer functions. Once there, they will use the link to bring them home to your site often.

MouseCount at One Million! (Michael Dean, Feb-Aug, 2000)

MouseCount is a hip little app that many people find quite addictive. An instant ROI could occur with deployment of this much-needed desktop datameter. Its functionality is the very definition of simplicity: It counts clicks of the mouse. Approximately 50% of people who try it cannot stop coming back to it, often many times a day.

This tiny file easily adds fascinating datameter functions to any desktop. We can tailor to any licensee for instant branding with logo and hyperlinks to become a "take me there now button" that people want on their desktop.

While most demographics are concerned with clicks on a remote system, MouseCount is unique in that it provides the user with local information. This has manifold uses: computer usage studies, ergonomics, repetitive stress and mainly just good plain fun.

The Web link on the Click Statistics pane takes the user directly to your homepage. It is a quick and easy self-propagating methodology for implementing a permanent homing device to bring repeat business to your e-concern (or that of your clients.) Alternately, a small ticker-type streaming media window could be added for your proprietary (and/or subscription-based) content.
